Boris Drennov
Born on August 7, 1928 in Tashkent In the design institute “Teploelektroproekt” (Central Asian branch) he started working in 1960 as a group engineer, and then was appointed chief engineer of the Tashkent State District Power Plant project, and already from December 1, 1966. to 1992 worked as the chief engineer of the Central Asian branch of the Teploelektroproekt Institute. Drennov B.D. was a competent and erudite engineer, able to use his knowledge in solving complex technical issues that arise in the design of powerful thermal power plants. Introducing the latest technical solutions using domestic and foreign experience, with his participation, the largest thermal power plants in Central Asia were designed: Angren, Tashkent, Krasnovodsk, Navoi, Fergana, Dzhambul, Mary, Syrdarya, etc. He constantly worked to improve his technical and political level. He took an active part in public life and enjoyed great prestige of the team. For his achievements, he was awarded: • Order of the Badge of Honor, • Two badges “Excellence in Energy” • Diploma of the Supreme Soviet of the UzSSR.
